A great deal for grandparents, parents for the kids & grand kids.... I don't understand why more beginner's do not look up videos on how to set up the guitar. that way you do not have to pay for the setup. The noise issue could be solved easy with a noise gate pedal as you know & TEMU, Alie-Express, Amazon have tons of decent cheap pedals. in the late 70's there was no internet no resources but the music store that was local & possibly the library for books.. The hex wench is intonation? Most the of the time, it is for neck adjustment, not intonation. The "gig bag" is probably refer to a guitar condom, not dust cover. I have one of those cheap Chinese practice amp. I plan to gut and install a bespoke amp and speaker in this cabinet. I had any guitar that address the overall length in the title it best to get to a beginner to discourage her to every playing guitar again. I will give a Monoprice Stage Right amp and a PRS SE if you REALLY want someone to learn guitar.

Great starter kit for a beginner guitar player. The price is right. I paid 15 bucks for my first electric. And it was horrible hahaha! Not to mention I had to rewire it and I had no idea what I was doing. So you can imagine how that went...terrible! Rawk!

If it had black pickup covers, it would be killer. Unfortunately, if it needed a setup, and no one in the house knew how to do it, then they would have to spend $100+ to have that done, depending on what they would havve to do.

I dig the black hardware. Too bad they also didn’t put black pickups on there as well. These are great starters and if someone grows out of it for something of a higher quality, then use it to start learning how to mod and customize.

I don't know alot about this palona wood, but for a triple single coil axe didn't sound great, but not to bad for what it is and that is a important thing to emphasize, WHAT IT IS 😎, be cool this is a starter axe that comes with a little 20 watt amp that might be limited but does have a range in sound, I have 2 , 1 came with a axe one I bought to check out. Point being if you put the work into it, this axe can serve you for a good long time, some things might be limited such as the wammy bar, if it's not a dence wood I don't suggest ripping on that thing to much. However as stated when your skills grow you can modify the guitar and it can grow with you, the name speaks for itself, been around and known in certain circles, they are making a play in the market with better quality I believe, although to be honest Leo Jamez has my vote for great budget guitars. This doesn't seem to bad though and I don't know if Leo sells starter packs. If they do my apologies. Anyways Stanger keep kicking them out your great at taking a unboxing video and turning it into something that can brighten my day. By the way where was the finger ease at man, you know it makes everything and everyone better 😂🤣🤪

An electric guitar cost as much in the 60’s as they do now , think the Silvertone st style cost $70 to $90 at Sears

Cool vid, Dave! Yep. These kits are a great way to go for someone who is shopping for themselves as a first-timer, or a Kid. Everything's int here, to get you started. Personally, I wouldn't do it that way. I would go a different route, and I'd recommend to others to do the same. I'd start with 2 things: 1- A guitar, I'd recommend one of 4 or5 starter guitars. A Squier Debut or Sonic. Or an Epi Les Paul Special or Special II. Or maybe stretching a little... a similar priced low-level Schecter or Ibanez. Or... if someone is going to do the Amazon thing... A Donner or yeah - maybe this LyxPro. Maybe a Leo Jaymz (you're their guy!) or a Grote. But here's where I think the Kids quit.... The Amp. These amps are garbage, and they sound like garbage. Even going to Guitar Center or a local shop... getting a Fender Front Man 10 or even a 15 Watt amp. Mostly bad sounding - although my Little Peavey Blazer 15W Amp sounded pretty tight, way back in the day. Anyway - simple solution - Get the Fender Mustang LT 25. $159 for the amp - as opposed to $139 for the Frontman which does only 1 thing. And you get modeling with the LT. A Kid can turn the main knob and get 100 different tones! Right out of the box - and build tones if he/she wants to. $119 for a Squier Debut. About $275 scooters gets you something that sounds SO MUCH better than this. But I will say... that guitar is really decent looking. But I wouldn't get that kit. Wasting $$ with that Amp. Just my 2 cents.

Honey burst my Ass .it's frickin orange no honey.i should have got the spalted maple.other than amazon.sending me two of the same guitars one I approved the other they took upon themselves to order for me. And the back Bow .was insane I almost sent it back .but I finally got it spot on so it's basically a orange tiger striped. explorer.so I believe I'll keep this one .o and I didn't have one uneven fret . very nice man .I am going to trade my other one for the spalted one .Rock on you crazy mutha .and please save some string eas for the people crying about it I don't use it because I eat barb wire and shit ice cream

I'm 57. I'm on my 3rd FFLPS "bat" guitar. I want one of those explorer types but they're sold out already. They have cream coloured V's on the site but I'm in Canada and can only order from their eBay store. Hope I'll catch one of these soon.

Doesn’t look like high end PRS at all. 😒 Hard to find a company that actually make a real PRS copy. They have Les Paul’s and Strats down pat , but for some reason can’t do a PRS correctly.
